About the APSA/CWA

WHO ARE WE?

What is the APSA/CWA

The APSA/CWA (local 6001 of the communications workers of America), is a national organization for passenger service and reservations agents at American Airlines.  Having our own leaders and members from airports and reservations centers across the country will enable us to strengthen and deepen the level of support we need to get us to another union election and collective bargaining rights at our airline.

What is APSA's Structure?

APSA/CWA's structure is comprised of four (4) National Officers: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer; an Executive Board (the National Officers and Chapter Representatives); Chapter Representatives; and the membership.

APSA's membership is broken down into regions. A region with at least 15 members may form a Chapter by petitioning the Executive Board. For every 15 members in a Chapter, the Chapter may elect a member to the Executive Board. The Executive Board will have the authority to change the required number of members to form a Chapter.

HOW DO WE REBUILD THE LABOR MOVEMENT?
